PETER KOSSOWAN was the leading club sponsor in the world during 1986. He has sponsored clubs for ethnic, singles, corporate, government, community and educational groups. These clubs are: Singles, Fabulous Facilitators, Eloquent Albertans, Paragon, General Speakers and Poplar Bluffers.
The Key to Peter’s success is those he “Markets Toastmasters, rather than trying to sell it.” Peter is well known for demonstrating effective meetings and having the answers to most questions regarding Toastmasters.
Peter has a history of winning awards for sponsorship. He won the club membership Sponsor Award, 5 years in a row, 1981-5. As District Governor, 1979-80, he led District 42 to Select Distinguished District. In 1984 he was awarded the “Presidential Citation” by International President, Eddie Dunn, DTM for promotion and outstanding support of the Toastmasters program. Anyone who creates ten or more clubs can win a plaque from World Headquarters.
