District 42 is one of the fastest-growing Districts in the world. In the past 14 years, growth in the number of clubs was 357% and the per-capita growth was over 400%. Although we are growing extremely fast, we are providing top quality Toastmaster programs. We have attained the Distinguished District Award nine out of the last ten years. Commitment, involvement, and fun have contributed to our tremendous success.
An important role for all Toastmasters is assisting with membership growth. More than 85% of the new Toastmaster members have been introduced to Toastmasters by a friend, relative or associate. Therefore, it is an “excellent idea for us to invite guest to our Toastmaster Club meetings as often as we can.
Don’t just invite someone to be your guest. Impress them with the red-carpet treatment. Pick them up and take them to the meeting with you. Ensure that they feel welcome by answering their questions and invite them to come again.
Given the royal treatment, your guest will most certainly want to return and will want to join Toastmasters. The rewards of, membership growth are many. With your involvement, we will surely continue our phenomenal growth in District 42. We will “KEEP THE SPIRIT ALIVE” by learning, achieving, growing and having fun.
