Together we achieved all minimum goals and standards set for us by WHQ as part of our participation in the DISTINGUISHED DISTRICT PROGRAM. We also achieved the majority of the loftier goals which we set for ourselves.

As a result of these achievements, District 42 has been named a SELECT DISTINGUISHED DISTRICT (placed 10th in the world of 68 Districts and our District Bulletin “PRAIRIE HORIZONS” has been awarded the TOP 10 DISTRICT BULLETIN AWARD for the second year in a row.
We were second in the world in numbers of DTM registrations. Third in the world in our registrations of Speech craft programs, and third in the world in registering Leadership and Success Leadership programs.
These truly outstanding achievements by our District were due to the dedication and commitment of you, the member. Thank you all. You chose to, “Commit to Excellence.” I feel very proud and much honored to have been your District Governor.
